Activity Policy: NPO Ariake Sea Gururin Net
活動の目的
有明海は日本一の干満差がある独特の自然条件に恵まれ、ムツゴロウを始め多くの魚介類によってその沿岸に住む人々の暮らしを支える貴重な海でした。しかし、近年は二枚貝が急激に減少するなど、その環境異変が問題となり「有明海再生」が叫ばれるようになりました。そのような状況下で、有明海の環境問題は諫早湾締切水門の開門問題だけがクローズアップされ、「佐賀県と長崎県の対立」、「農業者と漁業者の対立」という単純な図式で報道されることが多く、それが有明海を市民から遠い存在にしています。
漁業と生態系が持続的に継続可能な「豊穣の海」有明海を後世に引き継いでいくためには、何よりも有明海を市民に身近な海に引き戻すことが必要です。そのために、有明海の持つ「不思議」「食」「文化」など、そこにしかない魅力を発信し、有明海の「真実」と「魅力」を理解する市民を増やしたいと考えています。
そのため、この法人は、有明海に深い関心を抱く人が、みずから有明海の魅力を再認識し、有明海と共生した暮らしを構築するために、有明海に関連した情報交換、情報発信及び人的交流を促進し、地域の発展に寄与することを目的とします。
Aims of the Activities:
The Ariake Sea was blessed by natural environment with the largest difference in tides in Japan and has supported the living of habitants around the Ariake Sea by a number of marine products like Mutsugoro (mudskipper) and many varieties of fish and shellfish. However, in recent years, the number of bivalves has dropped rapidly. As a result, environmental problems and restoration of the Ariake Sea is highlighted. Under the situation, the environmental problem of the Arikae Sea has been discussed only from a point of view whether the gate of the Isahaya Bay should be opened or not. This argument has been emerged as the conflict between Saga prefecture and Nagasaki prefecture, especially between farmers and fishermen in the two prefectures. Consequently, that made the Ariake Sea a place far from the citizens.
In order to preserve the treasure sea, the Ariake Sea, to future generations, it is important to give it citizens as a familiar sea, which is a sustainable system between fisheries and
ecosystems. For this purpose, we are disseminating information on wonders, foods, and cultures of the Ariake Sea among the people of the country. Thus, we would like to increase citizens who
understand the “Truth” and the “Attractiveness” of the Ariake Sea.
To achieve the above objectives, the NPO Ariake Gururin Net set up the aim to contribute to the development of areas around the Ariake Sea by exchange and transmission of information on the
Ariake Sea and by promotion of human interaction. Especially, this organization aims to contribute for people themselves, who have deep interest in the Aiake Sea, to re-recognize the
attractiveness of the Ariake Sea and to build their life in a harmony with the Ariake Sea.
